Organisation Background

The vision of The Three Brothers Charity Foundation(TBCF) was conceived by the three brothers whose personal experience and tragedy with the impact of HIV/AIDS on near family created a hearing to play a greater role in reducing the negative effect of this killer.

Summary

The Three Brothers Charity Foundation was founded by the three brothers concerned about the Aids epidemic and lack of services for the children and with development disabilities, the foundation looks forward to form a program providing Education and therapeutic services to these children and to be a major provider of services for people with disabilities in Uganda.

With care and support of philanthropic friends like you The Three brothers Charity Foundation will succeed as we look ahead through the next 5 years.

The profile of the Three Brothers

 

Mr. Francis Ogola Onweng

Francis Ogola was an Olympian in athletics representing Uganda in Barcelona 1992 and 1996 in Atlanta Georgia USA.

He has been a role model for the orphaned children giving them hope and self belief in there abilities to live beyond the horror of losing their parents.

 

Mr. Mike Okot Onweng

Mike Okot was also an Olympian representing Uganda in athletics in 1994 and 1988. Mike has sacrificed his meager resources to try and improve a lot orphans left behind by the disease.

 

Mr. Charles Okello Onweng

Was involved in sports at national/ regional level in Uganda.

Objectives of The Three Brothers Charity Foundation(TBCF)

  • To reverse the trend of the HIV/AIDS in Kyoga
  • To improve the health of the community in Kyoga
  • Provide parental care to infants orphaned by HIV/AIDS
  • Provide guidance
  • Provide basic Education to ophans

The Three Brothers Charity Foundation is located in Kyoga District in Northern Uganda.

Geographically Kyoga appears almost as an island both in real sense and in terms of development isolation
